Holiday Surprise by The Waters of Oak Creek’s ROMEO Group

For the last five years, a group of seniors created a Friday tradition.

Donned the ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out) Group, a group of gentlemen from The Waters of Oak Creek travels to get breakfast every Friday at Oak Creek Diner.

And each time, they’re served by the same two waiters.

On this particular Friday morning, the men decided to do something different. They boarded their bus around 6:15 a.m. and arrived at the diner.

Rolling into the breakfast joint, they brought a holiday surprise.

After sitting down at the table, the group of men presented each of their regular waiters with a $120 gift, raised through the ROMEO group members.

The surprise gesture, they said, was a small way to show how much they appreciated their service.
