Career Pathway

Resident (RA)

At The Waters, we provide a pathway for growth and stability while enhancing your paycheck through our RA Growth Pathway program. Wherever you start along the pathway—certified or not—we’ll invest in your career and as you learn, you can earn more! Our four-step pathway provides you with the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive™ as a part of our team.

Level 1 –

Non-Certified & Need or Want Training

  • Perform basic RA responsibilities
  • Grow through education & training
  • Earn $

Level 2 –

CNA Certified

  • Can perform all RA responsibilities
  • Continue to grow through education and training
  • Earn More $$

Level 3 –

Medication Pass Trained

  • Can perform all RA responsibilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge and competence required to pass medications to residents
  • Earn More $$$

Level 4 –

Advanced Leadership Point of Contact & Medications Management

  • Communications management
  • Advanced medications passing
  • Emergency and end-of-life leadership
  • Enhanced competencies (i.e., blood glucose testing, etc.)
  • Earn More $$$$

Eligible team members may apply for reimbursement up to a maximum of $500 per calendar year to be spent on tuition and/or books. Eligibility includes part- and full-time employees who meet a minimum hour requirement.

The Waters is always looking for the best candidates to join our growing team and we know that a great resource in the quest to find new talent is you! The High-5 Team Member Referral Program is designed to reward Waters team members who refer quality candidates for employment with The Waters. People often celebrate a victory by giving each other High-5’s and this is our High-5 to you! If the candidate(s) you refer for employment are hired by The Waters, you’ll be eligible to receive a bonus, subject to certain guidelines.
